Brilio.net - Cooking at home is an economical option to reduce daily expenses. Cooking activities provide freedom in choosing the ingredients to be processed. Obstacles in cooking such as wrong seasonings or running out of LPG gas often become obstacles.
LPG gas is one of the most disturbing kitchen problems because it is related to safety. Gas leaks marked by a hissing sound can occur due to damage to the stove components. Many people are worried about repairing or replacing LPG gas equipment independently.
Replacing the gas mouth rubber with a new one is a common solution that is often done. This method is considered less cost-effective because it must be done repeatedly. A practical alternative has been shared via a TikTok video upload by the account @nadiapurwanto445 to solve this problem.
Curious about how?
First, remove the gas rubber on the inside of the gas cylinder mouth. Don't just throw it away, because the gas rubber will still be used later. If so, prepare a rubber band. Yup, the tools needed to overcome leaking LPG gas are gas rubber and rubber bands.
"Cut the rubber band according to the length of the gas head hole, no more, no less," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @nadiapurwanto445 on Friday (13/12).

Once the size is right, insert the rubber band into the mouth of the gas cylinder. Press gently until the rubber band is completely inserted.

Since there is still some space left, place the gas rubber on top of the rubber band. Press the gas rubber with your hands until it is tightly attached.

Next, reinstall the regulator to the gas cylinder as usual. Don't forget to press the lock so that the regulator doesn't come off. Once installed perfectly, the gas cylinder will no longer leak. Because there is no more hissing sound coming out.
