Brilio.net - The stove is one of the most important appliances in the kitchen. Without the presence of a stove, many delicious recipes and dishes may not be realized. The stove not only functions to cook food, but also helps in boiling water, frying, baking, and various other cooking techniques that support the nutritional needs and culinary pleasures of the family.
In Indonesia, most people use gas-fueled stoves . Gas stoves are the main choice because of their high efficiency and ability to produce stable and easily controlled flames. In addition, the use of gas stoves is also considered more economical compared to other energy sources.
Although quite economical, using gas cylinders as stove fuel is still wasteful if used intensively. In addition, gas cylinders also often experience leakage problems. This certainly makes the gas in it run out quickly and makes household expenses more wasteful.
Well, to overcome this, you can apply a number of simple tricks to save gas cylinders. This trick was once used by the owner of the Instagram account @alfia_nurannisa00. Through one of the videos uploaded, she admitted to only using one simple tool to change the gas cylinder to be more efficient and not easily leaked.
As reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @alfia_nurannisa00 on Tuesday (12/17), the tool in question is thread. Yup! She relies on 20 cm of sewing thread to save on gas cylinder usage. On the other hand, this thread can also prevent the gas in the cylinder from leaking easily.
How to use it, simply remove the gas cylinder regulator first. After that, take the red seal or rubber in the gas cylinder hole. Then wrap the middle part with sewing thread. Wrap it up to several layers so that it is thick enough to hold the gas so that it does not leak.
After sewing thread, immediately reinstall the red seal in its place. Then install the regulator. Make sure the regulator is tight. That way, the gas cylinder will flow fuel to the stove more smoothly. Minimal leaks will also make the gas cylinder more durable even though it is used frequently.
Viewed more than 7 million times, this video about saving gas cylinders immediately attracted attention. Many other Instagram users then gave direct responses through the comments column. Most of these netizens even admitted to having successfully applied the trick.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you for the knowledge," said Instagram @titin___s.
