Brilio.net - The stove burner is a component that is very easily stained such as spilled sauce or oil during the cooking process. Dirty burner conditions can interfere with the overall performance of the stove. Using a stove with a dirty burner also creates discomfort for its users.
Lack of attention to the cleanliness of the stove burner often results in the accumulation of stains over a long period of time. Stains that are left too long will harden and form a crust that is difficult to clean. The process of cleaning the crust on the stove burner requires special handling because it cannot be removed with just ordinary soap and wire wool.
The use of citric acid is one solution that is believed to be able to soften the crust effectively. The cleaning method using citric acid requires a soaking time of around 4-5 hours, shorter than conventional soaking which requires overnight. However, the cleaning duration is still considered too long by some people.
A quicker alternative cleaning method has been shared via the YouTube channel Food and Mom. Stove burner cleaning can be done without using citric acid with equally effective results. The cleaning process using this alternative method only takes about 10 minutes to remove the stuck-on crust.
As reported by BrilioFood on Monday (16/12), the YouTube user admitted to only relying on two kitchen ingredients, namely baking soda and vinegar. However, before applying it, remove the burner from the stove first to make it easier to clean.

Next, place the stove burner in the sink or place to wash. Then sprinkle the surface of the stove burner with baking soda evenly. If so, flush using enough vinegar.

After that, let it sit for just 10 minutes. According to YouTube user Food and Mom, these two ingredients not only help remove crust, but also rust on the stove burner. Therefore, the stove burner can be even shinier.
Once it has been left, scrub the stove burner using a brush. In the video, he claims to use an old toothbrush that can more easily reach the narrow gaps in the burner. Because the crust and rust are soft, scrubbing becomes easier.

Next, rinse it with clean water until the dirt is gone. Then drain the stove burner. To dry quickly, wipe it with a dry cloth. Then reinstall the burner on the stove body.
