Behind his enthusiasm and totality in front of the camera, the 61-year-old man revealed that he had suffered two strokes . But surprisingly, Tio chose not to take medical drugs even though he had received advice from the doctor.
"Alhamdulillah, I've had two strokes. The doctor suggested that I take hypertension medication regularly, but I didn't want to. I don't take any medication every day, I only consume honey and moringa leaves. I also try to stay active, especially by swimming," he said in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (8/4), as quoted by BrilioFood from Kapanlagi, Wednesday (9/4).

Even so, the father of three admitted that there are a number of taboos that he now has to pay attention to, one of which is ensuring that his stomach is not empty because it can trigger a spike in blood pressure.
Not only about food and physical activity, Tio also began to take better care of his emotional condition. He realized that stress management plays an important role after experiencing the effects of stroke twice.
"After that incident, I had no choice but to learn to control my emotions," he added.
Although his lifestyle seems to be at odds with most medical advice, Tio remains steadfast in his choices. He even admitted to not following any specific dietary restrictions and called himself 'stubborn'.
