Brilio.net - Not only Komeng, comedian Opie Kumis is also running as a member of the legislature in the 2024 election. Opie Kumis is running from the National Mandate Party (PAN) for the DPRD for the Jakarta VI electoral district. Unfortunately, until now the senior comedian's vote tally is still less than that of other legislative candidates.
As of Wednesday (21/2), Opie Kumis was recorded as having collected 1,539 votes, while based on data it was 2,874 or around 48.02 percent of the TPS data that had been entered. The owner of the real name Muktar Luthfi admitted that it would not be a problem if he did not qualify to become a member of the council.

"When I'm at this democratic party, I don't think about winning or losing. The important thing is that I walk, contribute to the democratic party, and socialize to the community," he said, as reported by brilio.net from merdeka6.com on Thursday (22/2).
For him, losing and winning are not the main focus. He considered this to be normal in election competition. He said he was not burdened by winning or losing , in fact he felt happy being able to get to know the people more closely.
"So, winning and losing in matches is a normal thing. So I don't feel too burdened even though my voice is small, the important thing is that I can enjoy getting to know people I didn't know before," Opie added.
With the current vote tally, Opie Kumis is showing an open-hearted attitude. Moreover, he admitted that he was invited to take part in the legislative elections by Eko Patrio, without having to spend a lot of money.

"Why are you disappointed, don't you regret it? Because Mr. Eko (Patrio) is a good person. I was invited, so I never spent any money. I was backed up by him, thanks Mr. Eko," he said.
Even so, he did not deny that he would also have to spend capital to run for election this year. Not much, Opie admitted that he only spent money from selling one magpie batu bird for IDR 25 million.

"Bang Opie only took out one magpie bird and sold it for IDR 25 million, that's all. That's all, just to feed the children of the successful team. And there's nothing else," explained Opie in conclusion.
