Brilio.net - As a comedian and public figure who is famous in society, Sule's name has often been targeted by political parties. He also admitted that he had received an offer to become a politician. Moreover, the offer came from his fellow artists.
This was revealed directly by Sule when appearing on YouTube Kaesang Pangarep by GK Hebat. In his story, Sule admitted that he had received a call from Raffi Ahmad.
At that time, Nagita Slavina's husband contacted him in the morning to offer him to enter the world of politics. Without hesitation, based on Sule's story, Raffi Ahmad offered him to become deputy mayor of Bekasi.
"Yesterday, Raffi Ahmad called and offered to be in Depok or Bekasi, eh Bekasi, Raffi called and offered, 'Do you want to be the deputy mayor of Bekasi?' Raffi said," Sule exclaimed as reported by brilio.net from YouTube Kaesang Pangarep by GK Hebat, Thursday (29/8).

Receiving a call from Raffi offering him to enter politics, the father of Rizky Febian admitted to being shocked. Sule admitted that the news was sudden so he was confused about how to answer.
"I said, 'Huh? Early in the morning I was offered the position of Deputy Mayor, I haven't had coffee yet'. I just woke up and was offered the position of Deputy Mayor, so I was confused, how should we answer that," he continued.
It turns out that this is not the first time Sule has received an offer to enter the world of politics. Previously, he was also offered to run as a regional head in several regions, including as a Candidate for Mayor of Cimahi. However, he admitted that he rejected all of these offers.
"I was once offered to be a candidate for Mayor of Cimahi, then which other mayoral candidates, there were some, then Regent, then whichever, many called, said it was from Dede Yusuf's direction, but I didn't," said Mahalini's father-in-law.

The main reason Sule rejected the offers was because he felt he did not master politics. Although he admitted that he had an interest in art, culture, and society, Sule felt no desire to pour that interest through political office.
"Not an expert. Not in my field, afraid of making mistakes. So I am more grateful for what God has given me. I was born an artist, I was born an artist, even when I die I have to be an artist," he explained.
At that moment, Kaesang also had time to ask if Sule was not interested in entering the legislative realm. For example, by becoming a legislative candidate as done by several other comedians, such as Komeng, Narji, Denny Cagur, and others.
"Okay, I'm not interested in running for the executive branch, but there are a lot of people running for the legislature who are also comedians, it's really funny in the DPR," said Kaesang.

Once again, Sule firmly refused to go to the legislative realm. He was worried if he advanced as a legislative candidate and was elected as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Sule's worry was because he felt that there would be many who were funnier than him in parliament later.
"It's even funnier, sir, that's why if I enter the DPR, it will be less funny, that's why I choose not to run," answered Sule.
According to Sule, being a public official is a very heavy task and requires great responsibility. Therefore, he chose to remain focused on his career in the entertainment world which has made his name great.
