To celebrate DiCaprios first Oscar win, Rihanna reportedly wants to take him for dinner. DiCaprio and Rihanna have been surrounded by romantic rumors recently after the two were caught partying at the same nightclub twice this year.
She (Rihanna) was very happy that he won an Oscar last night and decided to congratulate him briefly via FaceTime, said an unnamed source. It was a very quick conversation, and Ri told him she was proud of him, added the insider.
According to Ibtimes, the 41-year-old actor did not expect the Umbrella singers call. But DiCaprio thanked her and held up the Oscar against the phones screen so Rihanna could see it.
That was pretty much the extent of their phone call. Its a big deal for Leo, and Ri wants to, at least, take him to dinner so they can celebrate soon, said the source.
However, (and its sort of let us down) the source reportedly refuted the speculations of the two dating. Hollywood Life also reported that DiCaprios representative denies that the 28-year-old singer called the Oscar winner to congratulate him.
Rihanna cant stand Leo sometimes because hes such a bad boy and a player, said the insider. Clearly, theyre not dating but they do have a connection and continue to talk and even FaceTime.
