It's true that not many people know the trick to making the crispy fried banana texture last longer. However, once you know, you're guaranteed to be addicted to making this snack at home.

One of the netizens on the TikTok account @fajarlele shared a trick for making fail-proof honey fried bananas. The man known as Fajar is known as one of the participants in MasterChef Indonesia season 6, so there is no need to doubt his cooking abilities.

Fajar explained, to practice this trick, you don't just need wheat flour to make the dough. But you also need three other kitchen ingredients so that the banana fritters can be crispy for a long time.

Before getting into the trick, prepare a bowl containing 50 grams of low protein wheat flour. Then also add 200 grams of rice flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Yup, those are the three kitchen ingredients that must be added to this honey fried banana dough.

Next, add other complementary ingredients such as salt, granulated sugar, honey and vanilla paste. Then, dissolve the mixture with enough water. Stir until the mixture is completely mixed and there are no lumps.

After the dough is ready, just prepare the banana pieces. The owner of the TikTok account @fajarlele admits that he likes to use plantains to make these honey fried bananas. Dip banana pieces into the batter, then fry in hot oil. "Here I use plantains, because the aroma is fragrant and it tastes better to make honey-style fried plantains, yes," explained Fajar, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @fajarlele on Wednesday (7/8).

While frying, Fajar uses medium stove heat, so that the fried food is cooked perfectly and doesn't burn quickly. Once the honey fried bananas are browned and crispy, immediately remove them and drain them. Then, serve the honey fried bananas while warm.
