Instead of boiling, cashew nuts can be put directly into a container. Then pour warm water into it until it covers all the cashew nuts. Don't forget to add about 2 tablespoons of salt then stir.

"We soak it for 15 minutes. The aim of soaking it here is so that the sap from the cashew nuts comes out and it becomes softer," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from Mita Abdullah's YouTube on Tuesday (26/3).

Tricks for storing fried cashew nuts so they don't get soggy easily.

To store fried cashew nuts so they don't go bad easily, here are some tricks you can try.

1. Store in a tight container.

Make sure cashews are stored in a tight, airtight container. Air can make cashews moist, making them softer more easily.

2. Use a sealed container.

If possible, use containers that can be tightly sealed such as glass jars or plastic containers that have rubber or screw tops.

3. Avoid direct air exposure.

Keep cashews away from direct air exposure. Store in a cool, dry place and protected from direct sunlight.

4. Use ziplock packaging.

If you don't have a suitable container, you can also use a ziplock packaging or airtight plastic bag to store cashews. Make sure to remove as much air as possible from the package before you seal it.

5. Add desiccant or rice.

Adding a small amount of desiccant or a few grains of rice to the storage container can also help absorb any moisture that may be in the container.
