Brilio.net - A woman in Yogyakarta who works as a civil servant is in the spotlight after deciding to resign from her job. This decision has attracted the attention of many people because the profession of civil servant is often considered a stable job and is desired by many people. Even so, she remains firm in her choice and shares her story through uploads on her personal TikTok account, @oanandonly.
In the uploaded video, the woman recorded her last day as a civil servant. She started the day by attending a ceremony in the city hall yard, then spent time with her co-workers. She also said goodbye to the canteen guard while immortalizing the moment by taking a photo together.
The woman's decision to quit her job has drawn mixed reactions from netizens. Many praised her courage in taking such a big step in her life, while others questioned her reasons for leaving a stable job. However, she maintained that her work environment was enjoyable and her decision was made after much consideration.

"The work environment is fun, sis," he wrote in the comments column in response to a netizen's question.
The woman revealed the main reason she chose to resign. She admitted that she wanted to move, but her job as a civil servant at that time had not implemented the Work From Anywhere (WFA) system. This was one of the factors that pushed her to resign after going through a long thought process.
"Why do I want to resign? I want to move and civil servants can't do WFA yet, sis. At least in my place (old office) we can't do WFA yet, so I decided to resign. This was after going through a long process, to decide on this," he said in a different video.
In addition, her personal reasons are more focused on family. She wants to be with her husband after undergoing a Long Distance Marriage (LDM) for quite a long time. This condition makes her feel the need to take a big step to be closer to her loved ones.

"I want to follow my husband, I was married longer in a LDM (Long Distance Marriage) than with him. So, I don't want to anymore," she said.
For her, everyone has different priorities. She felt the need to consider whether the time sacrificed was worth the benefits gained from her work. In this case, she felt she lost a lot of valuable time with her family, especially her husband and children.
"People have different priorities. I think and weigh up whether what I sacrifice is worth what I get. In this case, I sacrifice my time to be with my husband, my children's time to be with their father," she explained.
For him, time is priceless. Moreover, he felt lonely because he lived alone in Yogyakarta, while his family was in another city. This condition further strengthened his decision to leave his job to be closer to his family.

"Unfortunately, I don't think so. It's not just about material things, because I think at that time it was priceless. And moreover, I was really alone in Jogja, my family was in another city, my parents were in Sulawesi. So I was really alone in Jogja," he added.
This woman's decision became a hot topic on social media. Many were amazed by her courage in making such a big decision, while others felt it was a shame to leave her job as a civil servant which was considered stable. However, she remained firm in her choice and chose to put her family as the main priority in her life.
