Brilio.net - The government through the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Ministry of PANRB) continues to strive to complete the arrangement of honorary employees or non-State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as mandated by the 2023 ASN Law.
Referring to the 2023 ASN Law, it is known that the appointment as PPPK is one of the solutions carried out by the government in solving the problem of arranging honorary workers. Even so, honorary workers cannot be automatically appointed as Government Employees with Government Work (PPPK).
Because they must follow the CASN selection like other applicants which will be held in 2024. It is known that there are 1,031,554 PPPK formations. The 2024 PPPK procurement is intended for priority applicants; former THK-II according to the THK-II database at BKN; non-ASN recorded in the BKN database; and non-ASN who are actively working in government agencies.

Prospective PPPK from honorary employees must meet the minimum and maximum age requirements set by the government. In general, the minimum age limit to take part in the PPPK selection is 20 years, then the maximum age limit is 59 years at the time of registration.
3. Working period
One important requirement is the minimum length of service as an honorary employee. Generally, the government requires honorary employees to have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of service in a government agency, although this provision may vary depending on the policies of each agency.
4. Educational qualifications
Honorary employees who want to become PPPK must have educational qualifications that match the job formations opened. These educational qualifications vary depending on the type of position applied for, for example a minimum education level of high school, D3, or S1.
5. Competence and certification
In addition to educational qualifications, some positions may require honorary employees to have certain certifications or special competencies that are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position being applied for. 6. Selection and testing
Honorary employees who meet the administrative requirements must undergo a selection process that includes competency tests and interviews. These competency tests usually include technical knowledge tests and general ability tests that are tailored to the position being applied for.
7. Filling in the available formations
Not all honorary employees can be appointed as PPPK. PPPK appointments are based on the needs of the formations available in government agencies. Therefore, honorary employees must apply and compete in formations that match their qualifications and experience.
