Brilio.net - When the month of Ramadan arrives, the tradition of breaking the fast together or bukber becomes one of the activities that often occurs in various places. This Bukber is usually initiated by various groups, be it friendship gangs, communities, co-workers or whatever. Of course the aim is to strengthen relationships between individuals and inspire a spirit of togetherness.
Bukber is usually held at a restaurant, mosque or a friend's house. But not with this bukber. The place is truly unexpected. How could it not be, they held a bukber in the church which is a place of worship for Christians. Meanwhile, fasting is an obligation for Muslims.
This bukber activity in an unusual place was held by a community in Bandung. namely, the Inter-Religious Network (Jakatarub) which collaborates with the Indonesian Christian Church (GKI) Kebon Jati. Many interfaith people came to attend this event.
