Brilio.net - Sopyah, a girl from Indramayu , West Java who changed her appearance to support her family went viral on social media. He was willing to disguise himself as a man, from his clothes to his haircut, in order to be accepted for work as a construction worker.

Sopyah did all this to support the only family she lives with, namely her younger brother, Samsul. When she was a guest star with Deddy Corbuzier, this 23 year old girl admitted that it was not easy to work as a construction worker.

He was rejected and even laughed at because he wanted to become a coolie. Remembering, she is a woman. That's the reason why Sopyah is willing to change her appearance like a man. He also proved that he was capable of doing heavy work like a construction worker.

"The first time he had long hair, he was rejected because he was a woman. (Deliberately) cutting his hair so people would think he was a boy. The name remained the same as Sopyah," he said, quoted by brilio.net from YouTube Deddy Corbuzier, Wednesday (5/6).

"At first I didn't know, I was rejected. I was almost laughed at, 'Wow, the girl must be weak'. I let out all my energy," he added.

He revealed that he worked as a construction worker like the men did. Not only building houses and mixing cement, Sopyah also broke large stones which were estimated to weigh up to 25 kilograms.

"Breaking large stones, using large iron tools, sometimes 25 kilos (no one to help) is normal," he said.

The hard work he does is not commensurate with the salary he gets. Living on a meager income, Sopyah was forced to live in a cemetery because she couldn't rent a boarding room. Because since his mother was sick, he has been moving around because his house was sold for medical expenses.

"I don't have a house, I live. In a cemetery. On top of a grave. I only use a mat," he said.

Not only is he alone with Samsul, Sopyah has 4 siblings. His youngest brother lives with his eldest brother who is already married. Meanwhile, his father worked in Central Java.

"My sister was taken a long time ago. With my sister. My sister is already married. It's just as difficult there," he explained.

This condition suddenly surprised Deddy Corbuzier. Because, Sopyah explained that he slept on the grave only on a mat. Sopyah added that the local government never offered him to move, but only gave him a job and sent his younger brother Samsul to school.

"It's scary, it's scary. But what can we do? There's no purpose anymore," he concluded.
