Brilio.net - The story of a boy named Adit in Kediri has recently received public attention. Many media reported about this teenager who was willing to leave school to care for his parents. How could he not, as an only child, he had to take care of his parents who had suffered a stroke.
Adit, who should now be in grade 1 of junior high school, lives with his parents in Kuningan Hamlet, Tiru Kidul Village, Gurah District, Kediri Regency, East Java. Not only is the story touching, their residence also looks inadequate.
The family lived in a rented house in Blitar Regency. However, he chose to move to Kediri to live in the house inherited from Adit's mother's parents. It can be seen that many parts of the house are damaged and need to be repaired immediately.
After being in the public spotlight, the Regent of Kediri, Dhito Pramono, decided to send representatives of the Kediri Regency Government to visit the family. He admitted that he was touched by the news. Together with related agencies, Dhito tried to help Adit and his family, especially as the regent said that improving the welfare of the people was one of his programs.
While sitting in a wheelchair, Adit's father listened to representatives of the Kediri Regency Government who said they did not want people's welfare to be left unserved. Apart from that, the government also encouraged Adit to continue his schooling until completion. The departments involved include the Perkim Service, Social Service, Health Service and also the Education Service.
"We really have to secure this Masu Pub program. Because we don't want one of the Kediri district residents to have their welfare not served well," said the district government.
Adit couldn't help but cry at that moment. In his modest home, he expressed his thanks to the district government for helping. The moment of this visit was posted on the Kediri Regent's personal Instagram account with the username @dhitopramono.
"To Adit's younger brother, stay enthusiastic and continue to pursue your dreams. Because you still have a long way to go and you need to achieve it with strong belief. We are all with Adi," said @dhitopramono.
However, the actions of the district government actually sparked debate among netizens. Apart from many people praising it, netizens actually criticized the local government's handling of it. Only because it went viral did the district government take action.
According to netizens, this handling should have been neatly arranged at the village government level. So even if something doesn't go viral, residents still feel the government's presence. This is also proof of how unstructured the program is for improving community welfare.
"Another viral based policy. There should have been handling from the local village government and then the report was continued to the government level above. In fact, the regent found out from the viral post. Just imagine, if every sub-district had another adit, but not in every sub-district there was a celebgram that went viral," said the account @pakwebe.
"It's like this, you have to wait for it to go viral before dealing with it, where were the village officials yesterday?? RT RW sub-district head??," said Revi_3110
"Great Mas Bup @dhitopramono. But before this went viral, where did the local village officials go? How come it was Jenengan who had to intervene," wrote the account @kimm_bahtera
"The social problem detection system at the RT RW Village level has been evaluated," commented the account @yudi.pare
From the video being posted until this article was written, the @dhitopramono account had 67,400 views. Apart from that, there are also thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
