After further investigation, it was discovered that piles of sacks of rubbish money were at Bank Indonesia located in Malang.
"1.5 billion in rubbish was just thrown away," wrote the caption in the post, quoted by brilio.net , Friday (24/5).
However, the money in the sack was not whole money, but money that had been destroyed so that it could no longer be used to buy things. The money is only in the form of small pieces which are then pressed into a solid form.

The money is grouped into various types. Starting from Rp. 5 thousand, Rp. 20 thousand, Rp. 50 thousand, even up to Rp. 100 thousand. All this money has no shape and has become rubbish.
These sacks are piles of rubbish worth IDR 1.5 billion. "This is really Rp. 1.5 billion in cash that has become rubbish," said the man who recorded the video on the account @tanduria.co.
According to the video owner, the reason why the money was destroyed was that the money that was destroyed was only damaged money and was no longer suitable for use for transactions.
