Brilio.net - Social media is being shocked by the case of a girl's grave in Purbalingga which was dismantled by an unknown person. Reported by brilio.net from merdeka.com, Thursday (23/5) this incident occurred in Binangun Village, Mrebet District, Purbalingga, Central Java. The villagers were shocked by the discovery of a tomb that had been damaged.

It is known that the grave belonged to a girl who was a Medical Science student at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta who died last Sunday (19/5) due to illness.

Prio Dwi Handoyo, an official from Binangun Village, explained that he found a hole dug in the grave of a girl who was buried recently.

"There is a hole dug in the grave of a girl who was only buried the day before," said Priyo to the media crew, quoted by brilio.net from merdeka.com, Thursday (23/5).

In line with information from village officials, the Mrebet sector police explained that the grave belonged to the late EF (19), a woman who died on Sunday (19/5/2024) at around 04.00 WIB and was buried in the public cemetery in Binangun Village RT 3 RW 2 around 10.00 WIB.

"The incident was first noticed by a witness named Sodirin (44), a local villager who was at his mother's grave at that time," explained Mrebet Police Chief AKP Muslimun, quoted by brilio.net from humas.polri.go.id, Thursday (23/5).

So far, the local police are still investigating the perpetrator's motive for digging up the deceased girl's grave. However, from the results of the examination, it was reported that the condition of the body was still intact without anything missing.

"From the results of the examination, nothing was missing, the body was still intact, the shroud and rope were still intact," explained Muslimun.

AKP Muslimun also added that after an examination the body was re-buried. The burial was carried out by local villagers at the location where he was previously buried.

"Regarding this incident, our party is still carrying out further investigations. "This is to find out who the perpetrators of the demolition of the tomb were and what their motive was," explained Muslimun in concluding his interview, quoted by brilio.net, Thursday (23/5).
