After further investigation, it turns out that the marriage guardian's action of hitting the groom was not without reason. It was previously known that the marriage guardian, Muhamad Fahri Tarafannur, had received threats from the groom's family.
In fact, news spread that Fahri had received death threats from the groom. The motive for the threat from the groom is not yet known. However, someone can be heard shouting in the video that this action was an expression of Fahri's annoyance at the groom, who seemed to be called arrogant.

When investigated further, the police confirmed the incident. North Ternate Police Chief Inspector Wahyuddin gave a statement when contacted by media crew.
"It was monitored (the case of the groom being hit by the marriage guardian). Thursday night (the incident)," said Wahyuddin to the media crew, Saturday (15/6).
However, Wahyuddin did not explain the chronology in detail. Because, said Wahyuddin, the police did not receive the report. It turned out that the problem had been resolved amicably.
"I didn't make a report to the police. Because that night it was resolved amicably," said Wahyuddin.
