Brilio.net - The virtual world was recently shocked by the unusual moment of an online motorcycle taxi driver. If online motorcycle taxis usually receive orders to deliver food, goods or passengers, this time it went viral on social media of a driver who received an order to deliver a corpse.
Reported by brilio.net from a video uploaded by the Instagram account @makasar_infoo, Saturday (16/5), an online motorcycle taxi driver was seen recording himself and his passenger, a middle-aged man who was holding a lifeless baby covered in a plastic bag.
The online motorcycle taxi driver looked sad when he saw this condition, he was even seen lowering his face several times. Likewise, the passenger looked listless behind the driver. It is known that the online motorcycle taxi driver took the grandfather and the baby's body from Makassar City to Pangkajene and Islands (Pangkep) Regency, a distance of 53 kilometers.
The story behind it is touchingAfter investigating, the reason the middle-aged man finally used an online motorcycle taxi service was because he didn't have enough money to rent an ambulance.
"A motorbike taxi driver took the body from Makassar to Pangkep, which was carried by his grandfather because he couldn't afford an ambulance," wrote the caption in the video.
When asked to find out more, the driver took the grandfather and the baby's body to the Tadjuddin Chalid Regional Hospital. Initially, the driver named Wawan was delivering food orders to the hospital. When he wanted to leave the hospital area, he was detained by a corpse attendant to receive offline orders.
Knowing that he could immediately receive an order to transport passengers, Wawan immediately agreed without thinking twice. Wawan, who had permission to go to the toilet before leaving, realized that the passenger was not the corpse bather but a middle-aged man with the corpse of a baby in his lap.
"I entered the morgue so I said I would urinate first. After urinating, the items (grandfather and grandson's bodies) were already on the motorbike, so whether I wanted it or not, I had the heart to help," said Wawan.
Wawan admitted that he got Rp. 150 thousand as petrol money. Wawan also received the payment. He didn't want to say much, because he knew that his passengers were poor and at that time a disaster had occurred.
The journey from Makassar to Pangkep takes an hour and a half. Wawan admitted that he took the grandfather and grandson's bodies to the Pangkep Regency Hospital, where the grandfather and grandson's family were waiting for the grandfather and grandson to arrive.
