Brilio.net/en - Israeli visual artist Tal Peleg is using her own eyelids as a canvas. With her skilfull hands, she created dozens of mesmerizing paintings depicting various characters and themes available in ones dream (and reality).
Art was a part of my life since I can remember myself, and I also always loved makeup, since I was a little child and thought it was an amazing form of art, Peleg said, as reported by Mashable. I used to experience with artistic makeup when I was very young, and over time it developed more and more.
Illustration and photography are also great passions of mine, so my eye-artistry was my way of mixing all of my passions together, she said.
It started as more abstract artistic makeup works, and over time my style became more and more illustrative.
Her intricate and beautiful artwork, painted in vivid colors, has drawn many fans for Peleg. Her eye makeup creations have been appreciated and shared all across the web and bring in over 268,000 Instagram followers.
Pelegs inspiration flows from many fountains. Her interests range greatly.
I choose the things that I find interesting and life and give it my own unique artistic interpretation on my eye, she said. It can be movies, musical, fairytales, books, emotions and even social matters like anti-bullying or pet adoption awareness, for example.
Her signature works include Deadpool, The Shining and The Wizard of Oz and some others.
How long they took Pelegs time for each? For those highly-detailed tiny painting, according to her, the process usually takes about three hours per eye. (Its sort of amazing. We dont have any idea, what if she instinctively blinks her eyes?)
Some of her works even took five hours to complete.
It really depends on the design and how complicated and detailed it is, or if I plan ahead or improvise. It can take one and a half hours, or even five. I believe the average is about three hours, she said.
It takes hours, if not days, of practice for us to create those perfect cat eyes and it affirmed that Pelegs works even more impressive.
