Daliman is a resident of Kampung Jambu Gemblakan Atas, Suryatmajan, Yogyakarta who uses the roof of his house to grow chilies. He transformed part of the roof of his house into an area with 100 chili plants.
During his four years of growing chilies, he encountered various obstacles until he finally produced sweet fruit. In one harvest, the chilies produced reach 1.5 - 2.25 kg per three days. The method used to plant chilies on the roof of a house is not much different in general. He also uses organic fertilizer that he produces himself to care for his chilies.
This success made Daliman make his roof the Metaram Chili House. He also often shares his experiences as a home farmer who spreads the invitation to those who live in urban areas not to hesitate to farm. Even though he is already widely known, he continues to innovate.
