Didi Kempot died on Tuesday 5 May 2020 at 07.45 WIB due to a heart attack. The singer, whose real name was Dionisius Prasetyo, died at the age of 53. His career track record deserves thumbs up.
Who would have thought that the singer of the song 'Stasiun Balapan' which was released in 1999 was once a busker. He started his career in the world of music as a street musician from 1984 to 1989. Since then, Didi has created several songs until finally moving to Jakarta and hoping to be noticed by producers.
Didi Kempot's songs mostly tell stories about sadness, love and heartbreak. Later his songs became known with the 'ambyar' theme. This makes people who listen to the song also feel sad.
