One of them, Pak Agung, is played by Pritt Timothy, who is known to have a wise character. The 62 year old man is not new to the world of film, he has been involved in acting since 1973.
"Since high school, yes, high school in 1973 I played theater at De Britto High School, reading poetry, writing poetry, acting in theater. Then I entered radio in 1975, there was art too. Well, what sharpened me to be able to play drama was Radio Retjo But before I was at Komsos (Social Communication) I also played theater, radio theater, but yes, there I was trained for dialogue even though I read texts. Then I entered the world of stage, theater on stage, because I was Javanese in Javanese, smooth, with various characters," Pritt said.
Even so, Pritt never dreamed of becoming an actor. His dream is to become a sailor. He wanted to sail, so he studied at ST Tourism.
"Because I want to sail around the world. But my voice ultimately sails everywhere. Because I voice over, dubber, my voice has soared everywhere, but I still live in my homeland," said Pritt.
Before entering acting he had worked in the radio world for 26 years. The first film that made him interested in going deeper was Marsinah in 1999.
"In the 1999 film, Mas Slamet Rahardjo Djarot, made the film Marsinah. This is also a luck factor, there is luck. What does that mean, there is a character whose face is similar. Looking for a character who is similar, his name is Suwono, the head of security at the Sorong watch factory. Well, the face "I'm similar to that Suwono. I started getting to know the world of the silver screen or the world of film, not through soap operas, not through FTV, but directly into the world of film. Well, initially it was in the film Marsinah," said Pritt.
It is an honor for Pritt to be able to play a role in one of Jagat Sinema Bumilangit's films. Moreover, Gundala is the opening film which is predicted to be sustainable.
"I read the comic Gundala when I was little. My image was that the atmosphere was Jogja, but it turns out it was made into a metropolis, right? That's the director's interpretation, that's fine, for a work, the important thing is that the essence doesn't change. Well, I don't know. got 22 scenes if I'm not mistaken. Finally we practiced with Abimana because we had to click, right? "Chatting can finally click, get it," explained Pritt.
Now he is preparing himself to play Agus Salim in the film Moonrise Over Egypt.
