Not only honey, he also added lime juice. However, the TikTok account user @evpd was immediately surprised when he stirred his drink, because the color immediately changed. The color of the turmeric drink, which was originally brown like tea, turns bright yellow when stirred.

Lime contains acid, so the turmeric boiled water, which was originally alkaline, becomes neutral when added with lime.
Even though it has changed color, the drink is still safe for consumption. In fact, as reported by healthline.com, adding lime to herbal drinks such as turmeric actually increases its benefits.
