No need to buy expensive AC.

Brilio.net - The weather has been really hot lately. Not only during the day, even at night it feels hot. It's so hot, sometimes when you're doing activities inside the house it becomes uncomfortable. Most people usually rely on fans. By using this electronic device, the air in the room will feel cooler.

Moreover, by installing a fan near an open window or door, more cool breeze from outside can come in. But sometimes, the wind that comes from outside and enters the fan actually feels hot and makes the room even hotter.

If a fan alone isn't enough to make your body feel cool, you can make your own air conditioner with the help of simple tools. Just rely on one main tool, namely a fan . Then the electronic device is changed to be as cold as an AC.

How to change a fan to make it as cold as an AC was demonstrated by Instagram user @kahemcasaa. In her video upload, this woman only relies on 1 piece of kitchen waste to turn a fan into one that is as cold as an AC .

First, cut the bottom of the bottle using a cutter. Then make a hole in the side of the bottle using soldering iron, don't get to the end of the cap, because later it will be used to hold ice cubes. Next, open the fan, then attach the pieces of used drink bottle packaging to the back of the fan.

After that, put about 10 ice cubes in the used drink bottle. If so, plug the fan into electrical power. Press the fan button as usual to turn it on. As a result, the wind will feel colder.

Because the ice is small, it will melt in the bottle. If it has melted, you can open the bottle cap to remove the water.

How to store ice cubes even without a freezer.

1. Use a cooler box.

Use a high-quality cooler box equipped with thick insulation. A cooler box will help keep the temperature cold longer.

2. Cover with insulating material.

Wrap the ice in additional insulating material such as a thick towel, blanket, or newspaper. This will add a layer of protection from outside heat.

3. Add salt.

Add a pinch of salt to the ice. Salt can lower the freezing point of water, helping the ice last longer before melting.

4. Store in a cool and shady place.

Place the cooler box or ice container in a shady and cool place, away from direct sunlight or other heat sources.

5. Use heat absorbing materials.

Place heat-absorbing material such as cloth or foam at the bottom of the cooler box. This can help reduce heat transfer from the bottom of the cooler to the ice.

6. Pay attention to ventilation.

Don't open your cooler box or ice container often. Every time you open it, warm air will enter and speed up the melting of the ice.

7. Split the ice.

Store ice in several small containers rather than one large container. Ice in a small container will have a smaller surface area, so it melts more slowly.

8. Use dry ice.

If possible, use dry ice (solid CO2). Dry ice can maintain a lower temperature than regular ice and leaves no liquid behind when it melts.

By applying some or all of these methods, you can extend the storage time of ice even without a freezer.
