Brilio.net - Fans have the main function of cooling or improving indoor air circulation . Generally, the wind produced by the fan is fresh and cool. But sometimes, in some cases, the wind coming from the fan actually feels hot and makes the room hot.

The wind from the fan feeling hot is a common complaint among people, especially when the weather is very hot. This problem can be very annoying, considering that fans are supposed to provide a cool and refreshing effect. A number of factors, such as environmental temperature, are often the main cause of the air coming out of the fan tending to be hot.

There are a number of ways that can be used to overcome this problem. For example, by placing a cooler made from a plastic bottle on the back of the fan. Apart from that, there are also those who choose to dismantle the fan and add several components to make the wind produced cooler.

But actually, there are other techniques that can be used to turn a fan so it's as cold as an AC, you know. This technique was shared by a YouTube user named Yoga Arief. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he relied on a piece of kitchen waste to turn the fan into something as cold as the AC.

The trick to turning a fan so it's as cold as an AC is with just 1 piece of kitchen waste.

Reported by BrilioFood from YouTube Yoga Arief on Tuesday (14/5), the kitchen waste in question is broken plastic jars used for food. So, apart from the jar, he also prepared a clear hose, cable ties and a mini water pump.

To do this, first dismantle the fan net. Then attach the hose to the back of the fan net. Install it in a twist and attach it with the help of cable ties to make it stick even better. If so, reinstall this net and all the fan components as before.

Next, insert the mini water pump into the jar. Then attach one end of the clear hose to the water pump. Meanwhile, the other end of the hose can be placed inside the jar. This is done so that the pumped water flow can be collected back in the jar.

If so, pour water into the jar until the pump is completely submerged. Only then turn on the pump so that the water can flow into the hose at the back of the fan. That way, the temperature behind the fan will be more humid and cooler, so that the wind produced will be fresher.

However, if you want it colder, you can put ice cubes in a jar. This will make the water temperature lower or colder. So the wind coming out of the fan will be really cold like an AC.

Tips for distinguishing ice cubes from boiled water and raw water.

Distinguishing ice cubes from boiled water and raw water is very important for health, because raw water can contain dangerous bacteria and germs. Here are some tips for distinguishing ice cubes from boiled water and raw water.

1. Clarity of ice cubes.

Ice cubes from boiled water are usually clearer because the dirt and minerals in the water have settled or been filtered. Meanwhile, ice cubes from raw water tend to be more cloudy because they still contain dirt and dissolved minerals.

2. Ice cube texture.

Ice cubes from boiled water are often harder and denser than ice cubes from raw water, which may feel more brittle and melt quickly.

3. Taste.

Ice cubes from boiled water do not have a strange taste because the water has been sterilized. On the other hand, ice cubes from raw water can have a slightly different or strange taste depending on the mineral content and impurities in the water.

4. Smell.

Ice cubes from boiled water should have no smell at all. If the ice cubes have a strange or unpleasant odor, they most likely come from raw water that has not been properly processed.

5. Defrosting time.

Ice cubes made from boiled water tend to melt more slowly because they are denser. Raw water ice cubes may melt more quickly because they contain more air bubbles and impurities.

6. Air bubbles.

Ice cubes from raw water often have lots of air bubbles in them, while ice cubes from boiled water are more homogeneous and free of air bubbles.

7. Source of ice cubes.

If you get ice cubes from an unknown or unreliable place, there is a possibility that it was made from raw water. Make sure the ice cubes come from a trusted source or make your own at home from boiled water.

8. Freezing conditions.

Ice cubes made from boiled water are usually produced through a controlled freezing process, such as in a household freezer. Ice cubes from raw water are often made in unhygienic environments and with poor freezing conditions.

9. Reaction with drinks.

When added to a drink, ice cubes from boiled water will not provide any additional effect or taste to the drink. On the other hand, ice cubes from raw water can cause the drink to taste different or leave dirt deposits at the bottom of the glass.
