Brilio.net - Cooking snacks can be a great way to spend your free time at home. There are various kinds of practical snacks that can be made, one of which is dimsum. In addition to being practical, dimsum also has a delicious taste and can be mixed with various kinds of fillings .

Especially if you already have ready-to-use dimsum skin. The process of making it will be easier because you only need to mix various filling ingredients in a chopper. Then blend until completely smooth and soft.

But even though it sounds easy at first glance, there are some people who still fail when they want to make dimsum. One of them is a woman who owns the TikTok account @bukosssss. In one of the videos she uploaded, she admitted that she wanted to make dimsum using ready-made dumpling skins.

As reported by BrilioFood from TikTok @bukosssss on Thursday (11/14), the woman initially appeared to show boiled water containing dumpling skins. She then put the dumpling skins in it. After further investigation, it turned out that the dumpling skins had just been taken out of the freezer, so the texture was hard and stiff.

Well, the moment of boiling the dumpling skin came from a tip he got from TikTok. Boiling the dumpling skin is believed to make the texture soft and easier to peel off one by one later. Therefore, without thinking twice, he put in all the dumpling skin stock that was going to be used for dimsum.

"Following TikTokers, boil the dimsum skin first so it's not stiff," wrote TikTok user @bukosssss.

But who would have thought, instead of being soft and easy to separate, the dumpling skin actually stuck together. Yup! When the woman showed the appearance of the dumpling skin after being boiled, the appearance was really beyond expectations. The texture of each dumpling skin was really sticky and stuck together. Some of them even looked destroyed because they were boiled for too long.

Viewed more than 1 million times, many netizens then gave direct responses in the comments column. Most of them seemed to provide other suggestions or tricks in overcoming the problem. After investigating, the tips that are widely shared on TikTok are basically not boiled, but only dipped in hot water.

"You dip it, don't boil it," said TikTok @vianakroco.

"When it's hard, I put it at room temperature until it melts. Usually when it melts, it releases water, no need to apply water. Try to store it in a sealed plastic bag/vacuum bag safely. If it's hard, it will crack and usually not be sealed," explained TikTok @duatujuhn.

"Well, I dipped it in water and the results were good," said TikTok @ner124.

But besides giving tricks or suggestions, there are also quite a few other TikTok users who actually responded with jokes. How could it not be, the appearance of this dimsum or dumpling skin really makes you clutch your chest.

"Anyway, I'm wondering if the dimsum skin is boiled and at least try 1 of this, ma seabrek," wrote the TikTok account @delsssfghjk.

"The dimsum skin is boiled so it's cooked, man, just mix it with the filling," commented the TikTok account @coretanchocho.

"WHO TAUGHT THIS, IS THEY RESPONSIBLE?" replied TikTok @evamitsubishimadiun.
