Brilio.net - Keeping the bathroom clean is very important for the health of yourself and your family. One of the main things that must be paid attention to is the cleanliness of the bathroom, especially the toilet. The toilet is often a favorite place for bacteria and germs to breed. If left unattended, toilets can spread disease to their users.

Apart from disease, a toilet that is not cleaned can also make it look dirty. In some cases, stains on the toilet usually turn into crust because they are not cleaned immediately. Well, these crusty stains can thicken with continuous use of the toilet.

To clean the toilet, some people usually use porcelain cleaning fluid. However, crusts that have already thickened usually cannot just disappear with just this liquid. Therefore, many people then use other alternatives.

One alternative for cleaning the toilet is to use hot water and citrus. So the citrus dissolved in hot water will be poured onto the crusty toilet area. This is considered to make the crust fade and be easy to brush.

However, instead of using hot water and citrus, which have the potential to irritate your skin, you can rely on other ingredients, you know. This material was used by YouTube user Melvianni Rahma Dewi. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he only used simple ingredients in the kitchen.

Reported by BrilioFood on Tuesday (13/2), the kitchen ingredients in question are baking soda and cooking vinegar. Apart from that, he also uses dish soap. Who would have thought, these three ingredients could be more effective at removing scale than porcelain cleaning fluid, you know.

So, how to use these three ingredients is quite easy. First of all, prepare a container. Then pour in 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 3 tablespoons of baking soda. Stir until smooth and leave until these two ingredients react. Then pour 1 liter of water while stirring.

"As a basic ingredient, baking soda dissolves organic compounds such as dirt, oil and other sticky materials. Meanwhile, as an acid, vinegar can break down minerals formed from hard tap water, forming unsightly stains on a number of objects," explained YouTube Melvianni Rahma Dewi.

Next, transfer this liquid into a bucket. Then add 2 tablespoons of dish washing soap. Stir again until all the ingredients are evenly mixed. So, that way, this liquid can be applied.

Before use, make sure the toilet has been rinsed first so that the dirt on it starts to fall off. After that, pour the cleaning fluid onto the parts that have a thick crust. For maximum results, let it sit for 5 minutes.

Once it has been left to sit, brush the toilet slowly. You can use a toothbrush, toilet brush, or wire wool so that the crust stains can be removed optimally. Do this brushing process until the stain is completely removed.
