Brilio.net - The hijab is usually worn by Muslims to cover the head and neck. Not a few Indonesian people wear the hijab during their daily activities. Because it is worn almost every day, the hijab becomes susceptible to stains. Well, these stains can be caused by dust, spilled water or food, traces of deodorant, or exposure to sweat.
If not washed immediately, sweat stains can cause the appearance of the hijab to change color. The reason is, a hijab that is stained with sweat will look darker than its original color. Sweat stains also tend to be difficult to remove if you just wash them with soap or detergent.
So, to overcome this, a number of people choose to add baking soda when washing hijabs that are stained with sweat. Baking soda is believed to absorb oil in fabric fibers so that stains can be removed immediately.
But if you don't have baking soda in stock, you can copy the trick shared by a mother via the Mutiara Studio 92 YouTube account, you know.
An easy trick to remove sweat stains from clothes, just add 1 kitchen ingredient.
Through one of his video uploads, he admitted that he could remove sweat stains from the hijab with just two ingredients.

First, rub dish soap all over the stained fabric.
"So, I also smeared this on the other side. So I smeared it back and forth, friends. After we finished smearing it, we let it sit for 15-20 minutes," he said.

After leaving it for a few moments, the mothers returned to preparing the bucket to soak the headscarf. The bucket is then filled with water and given liquid detergent. Next, stir it so that the detergent dissolves completely.
"We also prepare water in a container. Then add liquid detergent. Later this water will be used for washing. Then soak for 10 minutes. Make sure the clothes are completely submerged," he added.

After soaking, rub the hijab gently with your hands until it is clean. If so, rinse the hijab until there is no more foam left. Next, dry the hijab in the sun until it is completely dry.
"After drying, remove it and here are the results. The sweat stains are gone," he concluded.
