Brilio.net - The freezer is the best place to store meat because its cold temperature can inhibit bacterial growth. Chicken, beef, or fish can last for months if stored properly in the freezer . However, this cold temperature can change the texture of the meat, making it hard and tough when frozen, making it difficult to cook. Therefore, the meat needs to be thawed first so that its texture becomes soft again. Unfortunately, this thawing process can take a long time if it is only left at room temperature, often taking hours for the meat to become tender again.
To speed up this process, many people use special tools such as microwaves, which have a feature to defrost frozen meat by emitting high heat temperatures, so that the meat can be thawed in minutes. However, there is another way that can be done without using a microwave. This method is no less fast and has been shared by a TikTok user, @aimyya, in one of her tutorial videos.
As reported by BrilioFood from TikTok @aimyya on Thursday (6/11), she initially showed the condition of the chicken meat which was very frozen . Because it was so frozen, the meat could not be cut at all. Therefore, she thawed it using 3 kitchen ingredients, namely salt, vinegar, and warm water.

The method is, put the frozen meat into a bowl. Then add salt and vinegar to taste. If so, pour warm water with a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius until the meat is completely submerged.

Next, soak the frozen meat for only 3 minutes. Then discard the soaking water and rinse the meat. In that short time, the meat is very tender and soft. Now, this chicken meat is ready to be processed into various dishes.

In addition to chicken, this method can basically be applied to other types of meat such as beef. However, if using beef, it is better to soak it longer, up to 5 minutes so that the texture of the meat is really soft and tender.
How, easy and fast enough, right? With this method, you don't have to wait long if you want to process frozen meat. Only 3 minutes, the meat can be tender and soft again.
