Brilio.net - Instant noodles are often used as a solution when your stomach is hungry but you don't want to cook a complicated menu. The reason is, this dish is simply made using the boiling technique, then seasoned before serving. To make it more varied, instant noodles are usually mixed with eggs, vegetables or other ingredients.
However, Instagram account user @1001kuliner has a different way of serving instant noodles. Through his upload, this netizen shows the process of making instant noodles which are not boiled, but use several cooking techniques, so they tend to be more complicated.
Initially, the owner of the Instagram account @1001kuliner seemed to have prepared a steaming pan filled with water. Then, he put him a piece of instant noodles in it. Yup, the noodles are cooked until soft using the steaming technique, not boiled as usual.
After steaming, he continued preparing the Teflon to stir-fry the spices and carrots. Then, the account owner added the scrambled eggs first, before adding the steamed noodles.
The noodles are then mixed with soy sauce and sauce to make it taste more delicious. Then, the noodles are stir-fried until all the ingredients are mixed evenly and cooked. The process of cooking instant noodles immediately drew a lot of angry comments from other netizens.
"Not instant noodles, but complex noodles," wrote Instagram @efrian_sandiodinata, quoted by BrilioFood on Tuesday (9/7).
"So there's a lot of laundry," said Instagram @panjulee118.
"There's something complicated, why look for something easy?" said Instagram @anggyyyaaa.
Even though it is considered complicated, this technique of cooking instant noodles is believed to be useful, you know. The technique of cooking noodles by steaming is known to make the noodles springy in texture and not too soft. Apart from that, the technique also ensures that the noodles don't go stale quickly. This was also explained by a number of netizens in the comments column on the upload.
"This makes the texture of the noodles chewy and not soft even if you give it water... It's not like if you cook it straight away, it takes too long to cook and it actually becomes puffy... That's why if you're having a celebration you'll definitely steam it first... So if you cook a lot it will definitely take a long time." "You cook it so the texture of the noodles doesn't crumble," said a netizen on the Instagram account @rizcka_simantu.
"I've heard that this technique is used by catering entrepreneurs so that it doesn't go stale quickly. Because noodles are a food that spoils easily. So the noodles can last all day, I think so... CMIIW I've never practiced it either," said Instagram @bilqisnafisah.
"That's really true, this is the technique used in the kitchen of people who are getting married, so it doesn't go stale quickly," said Instagram @aliyarahma9245.
A similar thing was also explained by the TikTok account user @deboradebby363. However, this woman still boiled the noodles for a while until the water just boiled. Only then are the noodles steamed. According to him, this technique of steaming instant noodles really helps keep the noodles longer lasting.
"tips for making fried noodles so they don't go bad or smell quickly... after boiling the noodles, drain them in boiling water... then steam the noodles for 10 minutes then make fried noodles... and don't forget when boiling the noodles, use water to boil them in "I'll add oil... so the noodles don't clump," he explained.
Wow, it turns out that every instant noodle cooking technique still has its own advantages, right? So, what kind of instant noodles do you prefer to cook?
