Brilio.net - Burnt pans are a common problem that often occurs in the kitchen. This can be caused by various factors, such as the stove being too hot or the ingredients cooking too quickly. Unfortunately, burnt pans are usually difficult to clean. Even when scrubbed with dish soap, burnt stains often remain stubborn.

To solve this problem, many people turn to special ingredients such as vinegar, citric acid, baking soda, salt, or even bleach. While these ingredients are effective in removing burnt-on stains, there are often stubborn stains that remain. If left untreated, these stains can turn the pan black.

Basically, burnt spots on the pan can be removed without any cleaning agents. A YouTube user named Lilis Rahma once proved this through one of the videos she uploaded. Reported by BrilioFood on Monday (2/12), Lilis admitted to using a simple tool, namely sandpaper.

First, use coarse sandpaper first, then use it to rub the burnt part of the pan. In the video, he uses a stainless steel pan. So, the burnt spots will be easier to erode when rubbed with sandpaper.

Do this process without wetting the pan. Well, make sure the pan is dry and dry so that it is easier to scrub. That way, the burnt stains can be lifted immediately.

"Well, there was dirt stuck to the sandpaper itself," said YouTube Lilis Rahma.

Now, if the burnt spots have started to fade and disappear, then rinse the pan with water. Then rub it again with the sandpaper. This is useful for removing the remaining sandpaper and burnt spots that stick to the surface.

Next, rub the pan with fine sandpaper. This process aims to smooth out the remaining scratches from the rough sandpaper. Because basically, the rough surface of the pan will make it sticky. Therefore, rub again using fine sandpaper until the surface of the pan is shiny again.
