Brilio.net - Previously, celebrity Fuji had reported his former manager Batara for alleged money embezzlement. Batara is suspected of having embezzled funds from Fuji's hard work amounting to IDR 1.3 billion. This case was handled by the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. It is known that Fuji's former manager has now been arrested and named a suspect.
West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKBP Andri Kurniawan, said that the embezzlement case had been ongoing since Fuji reported it in September 2023. In this case, Batara is suspected of having violated Article 374 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code.
"It's true that we have detained BA. After we examined the suspect, we have detained him since Saturday, June 29 2024," said Andri in his statement, Friday (5/7), quoted by brilio.net , Saturday (6/7).

Andri said that Batara admitted to embezzling the proceeds from the 21 jobs he had carried out. Overall, Fuji's embezzled money amounted to IDR 1,312,997,100 which came from brand or agency payments.
The money was reportedly never transferred to Fuji's account and instead went into his former manager's balance. Batara also never reported or told Fuji about the money.
"Of the 21 jobs carried out by Fujianti Utami Putri's sister, it went into the reported party's personal bank account and the money was not reported and was not given to Fujianti Utami Putri's sister," said Andri.

Andri revealed that the money that had gone into the suspect's personal account had now been drained and there was nothing left. In his confession, Batara said that he used the proceeds of embezzlement for his personal needs.
"The suspect explained that the amount of Rp. 1,312,997,100 is currently non-existent and has been used for his personal needs and entertainment purposes while he was still the victim's manager," said Andri.

Previously, Fuji admitted that there were many contracts that he did not know at all. But that actually becomes an agreement when taking a job. This then caused Fuji to suffer quite large losses . It's not just about money, he is often called unprofessional by the agencies he collaborates with because Fuji himself doesn't know about the contract.
"There were people who were blacklisted because they thought I wasn't uploading. Even though what I know is that this brand doesn't pay. Meanwhile, the brand knows that I've been paid, but I didn't upload," said Fuji.
"So it seems like a lot of people who come to me are empty, 0 rupiah," he concluded.
