Brilio.net - A heartbreaking tragedy befell Uwok , the vocalist of the band Matta, when he witnessed firsthand the horrific moment when his son, Kaisar Akira Ayman was swept away by the waves on the shore. This incident left a deep wound in Uwok's personal life, who never imagined having to go through such a traumatic experience.
In several of his social media posts, Uwok showed how heartbroken and helpless he was when facing the disaster. With a broken heart, Uwok said that the moment was still clearly in his memory. He saw how the waves came suddenly, dragging his child.
As is known, while enjoying the scenery, the 16-year-old teenager was swept away by the waves at around 12.00 WITA. The Emperor's friends who witnessed the incident did not dare to help him considering the high risk. Then, the Emperor's friends contacted Uwok and his wife via video call, showing the seconds when the Emperor was swept away by the waves for almost an hour.
Uwok said that he witnessed firsthand the search process for his drowned child. He watched anxiously every stage of the search until the child was finally found.
Despite being full of sadness, Uwok was grateful that his son's body was still intact when found, which was thought to be because the drowning had not even lasted 24 hours. Mixed feelings were evident in Uwok's expression as he recalled the sad event.
"I saw the disaster process, I saw, monitored the disaster process. The body parts are complete, thank God. Indeed, because it didn't sink long ago, just not even 24 hours. Maybe around 20 hours," said Uwok as quoted by brilio.net from YouTube SCTV, Saturday (2/11).

As a parent, Uwok expressed his sorrow when witnessing the condition of his child who drowned. He realized that his child's body must have experienced changes, including swelling and many scratches from hitting coral on the head and hands.
Peeling skin due to exposure to heat and water further added to the sorrow in his heart. Although heavy, Uwok tried to accept this event as a disaster and God's will, and tried to find the positive side of the heartbreaking incident.
"But as a parent, I did see my child drown, and he must have been swollen. Then there were lots of scratches from coral, on his head and hands, and his skin peeled off because of the heat and water. As a parent, this is just a disaster, this is God's will and I can only look for the good side of this disaster," added Uwok.
