Brilio.net - The news of the sudden death of artist Marissa Haque shocked many. The wife of singer Ikang Fawzi passed away at the age of 61.
The cause of Marissa Haque's death is still a question mark. Even the family could not provide a definite answer regarding it until after the funeral.
However, Shahnaz Haque , Marissa's sister, gave an explanation regarding the alleged cause of her sister's death. She said that the family agreed that Marissa Haque died of cardiac arrest while sleeping.
"We assumed it was cardiac arrest," Shahnaz said in an interview quoted from Kapanlagi.com.

However, Shahnaz firmly confirmed that Marissa's cardiac arrest was different from the heart attack that many people often assume. The reason is, their family has no history of heart disease.
"Cardiac arrest and heart attack are different. We don't have a history of heart disease," added Shahnaz.
This answers the public's question that suspected Marissa died of a heart attack. Shahnaz also explained that her sister died in a peaceful state, as if she was sleeping.
"And when he died, it was like he was just sleeping," explained Gilang Ramadhan's wife.
Marissa's condition before she died was also revealed to be still healthy. Shahnaz emphasized that there were no signs of illness beforehand. In fact, Marissa had interacted with students and was active on social media a few hours before she passed away.
"Because he had just finished teaching, he was healthy. He was still posting on his IG story a few hours before he died. Healthy, healthy," said Shahnaz.

Marissa was found motionless in her bedroom, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hospital, the doctor declared that Marissa Haque had died.
Marissa Haque's sudden passing brought deep sorrow to her family and friends. Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral to pay their last respects.
Ikang Fawzi, Marissa's faithful husband since they married in 1986, was seen devastated. Even so, Ikang said that he had accepted the passing of his beloved wife.
