Brilio.net - Presenter Raffi Ahmad has recently received criticism from netizens on social media. This is the impact of his decision not to post the Blue Garuda Emergency Warning on his social media accounts. Even though the warning with the Garuda symbol was widely uploaded by the public and celebrities on their social media.

In addition, Raffi was also flooded with negative criticism because he did not join the demonstration to monitor the Constitutional Court (MK) decision. He was actually seen visiting with Gibran Rakabuming and Zulkifli Hasan in Bandung. This made Raffi accused of supporting the government and DPR policies that had planned to revise the Pilkada Law.

Netizens' anger peaked after Nagita Slavina's husband uploaded a screenshot of a tweet by the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, about the ratification of the revised Pilkada Law which was canceled. What made netizens upset and wondering was that Prabowo Gibran's logo was embedded in the upload.

Realizing that his actions made the public uncomfortable, Raffi Ahmad finally gave a clarification through the FYP episode on Monday (8/26). He appreciated all levels of society who took part in the action last week.

"I appreciate all my friends, all parties, all the people who took part. As Indonesian people, we may demonstrate, voice our aspirations, but don't be anarchic and don't be provoked. Salute, thumbs up for my friends who took to the streets," explained Raffi Ahmad in the event he hosted.

Raffi Ahmad said that he did not join the demonstration not because he did not want to be involved in the activity. He reasoned that at that time he was helping his brother-in-law, Jeje, who wanted to run for Pilkada in Bandung. Raffi said that in recent times, every weekend he had been going to West Bandung.

"It's not that I don't want to join the demonstration, I'm in Bandung for my brother's business to run for office. It just so happens that Mas Gibran and Pak Zulkifli Hasan are there. It just so happens that their schedules are the same," he explained.

"Every weekend I'm in West Bandung. While I'm going back to my hometown, I'm also helping my younger sibling. Every weekend, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Why didn't Raffi Ahmad join the demonstration? I happened to be in Bandung," he continued.

The owner of RANS Entertainment said that he has a different way to voice his opinion. But one thing is for sure, he still has the same goal as the Indonesian people.

"Everyone has different agendas, here it's not a matter of supporting 01, 02, 03, we all stand for the Republic of Indonesia. But we have different ways, it doesn't mean that not joining the demonstration means not voicing the people, everyone has their own way," he said.

Raffi Ahmad considered the Constitutional Court's decision to be very appropriate for the continuity of the nation and state in the future. The 37-year-old man also gave his appreciation for the decision which was considered to be a breath of fresh air for the climate of democracy in the future.

"Alhamdulillah, with the Constitutional Court's decision, the DPR finally followed the direction of the Constitutional Court's decision. This is the best for the Indonesian people. I support a better Indonesia," he said.
