Brilio.net - The news of the breakdown in Kimberly Ryder's marriage with her husband Edward Akbar is still being discussed by the public. After 6 years of marriage, Kimberly reportedly filed for divorce from her husband. The lawsuit was registered and confirmed by the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
This marital rift was also accompanied by unpleasant rumors about Edward Akbar's character which made Kimberly Ryder's family furious. Most recently, Kimberly is said to have reported her husband to the police on suspicion of embezzlement. Edward Akbar is suspected of having embezzled a car. This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, SKP Nurma Dewi.
"The report from brother KR was on Thursday, June 20 2024, around 7 pm at the police station at 7 pm," said AKP Nurma, quoted by brilio.net on Wednesday (17/7).

Furthermore, AKP Nurma also explained that there were two defendants in this alleged car embezzlement case. Kimberly reported her husband Edward Akbar with the initials EA and another person with the initials N.
"KR reported the alleged embezzlement of one unique car. The report was two people, clearly N and EA," explained AKP Nurma.
Currently, the police admit that they have scheduled the examination of witnesses. The witnesses who will later be examined are Kimberly herself as the reporter and also her mother. However, the police have not yet explained the detailed timing of the examination.
"For this reason, we have examined two witnesses, namely the reporter, the victim and another witness, KR's mother," he continued.
AKP Nurma also did not explain the type of car and motive for embezzlement. He only explained that he would continue to pursue the case. It is known that this alleged embezzlement was carried out in the 2023-2024 period.

"The nominal value of the car will be checked again, for that reason we will continue to carry out inspections," said AKP Nurma.
Apart from examining witnesses, the police will also summon the two reported parties. They have scheduled the inspection. However, this was done after examining the witnesses first.
"This has been scheduled. However, we will first check those who saw and heard or were at the scene of the incident," concluded AKP Nurma.
