Before being surrounded by the news of this divorce, Kimberly apparently confided in Melaney Ricardo's podcast. In the YouTube video, Kimberly discusses her husband's true character. Kimberly said that Edward Akbar was said to be a figure who always reminded people about religion.
At first, the 30-year-old woman admitted that in the past she had not been able to perform prayers regularly. However, she showed pride when she revealed her husband's personality, which actually guided him to be closer to Allah. Edward also reminded Kimberly that now they no longer live alone, but now they have children.

"I rarely pray, I still fast. But my husband asks us to get closer to Allah. Pray 5 times a day so that no one is left behind. Surrender more to Allah. Apart from that, Kimberly also talked about the lessons learned after marrying Edward. Six years into her marriage, Kimberly revealed three important things that make a marriage last.

Kimberly cannot deny that marriage is quite a complex thing. According to him, marriage means uniting two heads with different backgrounds. Meanwhile, for Kimberly, compromise, although difficult, is important in marriage.
"Marriage is complex, complicated, two people coming together with very different backgrounds, they have to be together," explained the mother of two children.
"Rise two kids together, compromise. Compromise is difficult, but it's very important," he continued.
Kimberly also said that for her, carrying out the role of a wife is more difficult than being a mother. However, it was not clearly explained what the difficulties were while being a wife.
