Brilio.net - The news of artists' divorce is currently in the spotlight of netizens throughout the first half of 2024. Most recently, Kimberly Ryder filed a lawsuit for divorce from her husband, Edward Akbar, at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. In fact, so far Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar's household looks fine.
This news was confirmed by Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Religious Court, Wawan Iskandar. He confirmed the news of Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar's divorce .
"Yes, it was submitted (Kimberly's lawsuit) Friday afternoon. That's right, there is a lawsuit. She registered to sue her husband for divorce," said Wawan Iskandar in his statement at PA Central Jakarta, Monday (15/7).
The news of their divorce became news on social media. In response to this, Edward uploaded a screenshot of the divorce news on his personal Instagram.
In the upload, he prayed that his relationship with his wife would improve for the sake of his two children, Rayden and Aisyah. He also offended other people who interfered in his household affairs.
"Astaghfirullah, pray that everything will be fine, ma @kimbrlyryder for us and Rayden and Aisyah, without intervention from any party," wrote Edward, quoted by brilio.net on Tuesday (16/7).

The Broken Wings actor believes that Kimberly decided to divorce him not because of his own decision. According to him, there were parties who encouraged him to divorce her.
"Especially those who don't know our true journey. Poor children, ma'am. I know this is not the result of your own thoughts. Bismillah, Allahu Akbar Bismillah Istighfar ma," he added.
Responding to the news of her son's divorce, Kimberly Ryder's mother, Irvina Zainal, actually mentioned a third person in the household. He wrote a caption on his Instagram Story about another woman who took her husband.

"Why do wives have to be smart about making money? Because their husbands are just entrusted to them... If they don't take them from God, they will take them from another woman," he wrote on his Instagram account @irvina_zainal.
Next, he re-uploaded the Instagram Story of @natasharyder, Kimberly's sister. He seemed to agree with what his daughter wrote. In that post, Natasha alluded to Edward who just wanted attention. He also threatened him if he did anything to his older brother.
"You're hilarious. What are you looking for? Please block me on IG. But don't try to create drama with my brother. Why are you reposting? Why are you making a highlight story? Looking for something from the public, repost like that & make a FUNNY caption like that to my sister? Look for it what's up," said @natasharyder, uploaded on Monday (15/7) evening.

Netizens also flocked to comment on Edward's upload. They asked the 38 year old actor to be introspective and not to brag about his domestic problems on social media. However, there are also those who support them to reconcile.
