Seven days after the passing of senior actor Ray Sahetapy , an emotional atmosphere enveloped his residence in Bintaro, South Tangerang. Family, relatives, and friends gathered in a 7-day tahlilan event held on Monday (7/4) night. His ex-wife, Dewi Yull, attended with their children to commemorate the deceased.
Ray Sahetapy was buried at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon, April 4, 2025. The funeral procession took place with full respect, witnessed by family, relatives, and a number of fellow artists. Sincere prayers flowed incessantly for the man who had inspired the world of Indonesian cinema.
In a solemn atmosphere, Dewi Yull was seen warmly greeting guests and sitting cross-legged among the extended family. Wearing simple white clothes, she looked calm and sincere as she delivered prayers for the deceased.
