Brilio.net - Gray hair is one of the most obvious signs of aging, seen from the change in original hair color to grayish white. Usually, hair begins to turn gray when entering the aging phase, around the age of 30-40 years. Gray hair appears because as we age, the hair's ability to produce melanocyte cells that form color pigments decreases.

This decrease in melanin causes the original hair color to fade and turn grayish white. The appearance of gray hair can also be accelerated by various factors, such as bad habits of smoking and stress, which can flow hormones and harmful substances that damage hair follicles and narrow the nutrient channels. In addition, lack of vitamin intake from food can interfere with hair regeneration, making gray hair appear faster. However, gray hair can be slowed down and faded by utilizing natural ingredients that nourish the hair, delaying the growth of gray hair.

One of them is using rosemary leaves, as reported by briliobeauty.net from the Instagram account @asianbeautysarmistha on Saturday (30/11).

Rosemary leaves (Rosmarinus officinalis) consist of several compounds that are beneficial for hair, such as ursolic acid, rosmarinic acid, and essential oils. Ursolic acid content can stimulate melanin production, helping to restore the original hair color.

Meanwhile, rosmarinic acid acts as an antioxidant that protects hair cells from oxidative damage and inhibits the appearance of gray hair. On the other hand, essential oils play a role in stimulating hair follicles to support healthy black hair growth.

You can turn the herbal leaves above into a multifunctional hair tonic in the following way.

Tools and materials:

1. Sufficient water (1-2 glasses)
2. A few rosemary leaves
