Brightening your face requires painstaking care.

Brilio.net - Black spots or what is also called hyperpigmentation is a condition characterized by the appearance of black-brown spots on the surface of the skin. The face is the part of the body that is most susceptible to black spots, which makes the skin look dull and has an uneven color.

One of the factors that triggers the above problems is continuous exposure to pollution and the sun's UV rays. This is because the sun's UVB rays as well as dirt and pollution can damage the skin barrier which protects skin cells. As a result, this will trigger an increase in the production of melanin as a pigment that gives skin color. This buildup of pigment is the cause of the appearance of black spots and dullness.

Apart from exposure to sunlight, black spots on the face can also be caused by other factors, such as genetics, use of unsuitable skincare or cosmetic products, and aging factors caused by a decrease in the skin's ability to regenerate.

Eits, even so, you don't need to be confused about how to solve the problem above. The reason is, you can really try using natural ingredients as an alternative solution to most of the commercial skincare out there. One way is to use a mixture of coffee, milk and turmeric as shown by @thesassynandini_ on Instagram, reported by briliobeauty.net on Thursday (25/4).

Milk is a drink that is full of lactic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which acts as an exfoliating agent. Lactic acid is able to gently remove dirt and skin blemishes while stimulating the growth of new skin cells. This content makes milk effective in helping to even out skin tone, thereby reducing the appearance of black spots and brightening the face.

Meanwhile, coffee grounds themselves are a source full of caffeine compounds, antioxidants and chlorogenic acid. The ingredients in this coffee powder work by stimulating blood circulation and increasing collagen production in the skin. This process helps regenerate cells in the skin, thereby reducing hyperpigmentation and giving the skin a brighter and more even appearance.

According to the Healthline page, coffee also contains high levels of vitamin B3 (niacin), so it is believed to be able to prevent non-melanoma skin cancer and black spots due to hyperpigmentation. This is because coffee can act as a natural exfoliator which can remove dead skin cells, blemishes and black spots on the face.

Meanwhile, turmeric is a cooking spice that is rich in the compound curcumin, vitamin C and antioxidants. The curcumin in turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory and whitening properties that can help reduce hyperpigmentation on the skin. Apart from that, turmeric also helps increase collagen production, maintain skin moisture, and minimize inflammation of the skin.

You can use the three ingredients above by following the steps below.
