Brilio.net - Using makeup is one of the main methods for many people to achieve a flawless appearance by covering imperfections on the skin . To get stunning makeup results, the main key lies in healthy skin. This is because skin that is healthy, moisturized and has a smooth texture will provide an ideal base layer for making makeup stick to the face well.
On the other hand, an unhealthy face will usually find it difficult to get the good makeup results you want. A face filled with signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines, will usually feel dry and rough. If makeup is applied to facial skin with this condition, the makeup will also look messy and not blend. Well, one of these problems is known as "creasing".
Creasing is a condition when makeup products clump and form fine lines in the form of small folds in certain areas of the skin. The problem of makeup creasing usually occurs on parts of the skin that are prone to experiencing symptoms of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines. One part of this skin is the area under the eyes. Even though it looks trivial, creasing can damage the final appearance of your makeup due to its effect, which makes your makeup look uneven, rough and messy.

As already mentioned, the problem of creasing under the eyes is often felt by those with dry skin and full of signs of aging. Therefore, loose powder is often applied to the under-eye area to really lock in the foundation and concealer so they don't slide off the skin. In fact, it is not uncommon to apply powder under the eyes using a baking technique, namely leaving the powder on the skin area for a few minutes.
However, applying powder like that can actually make the makeup even more lumpy because the makeup won't stick well. Fortunately, there are simple tricks you can do to solve this problem.
Reported by briliobeauty.net on Tuesday (13/2), you can copy the powder application technique shared on Instagram by MUA @christendominique so that the makeup under the eyes doesn't crease.
So, what tricks does this MUA do? Come on, look at the steps below.
Tools used:
- 2 small brushes
- Loose powder (can be colored or translucent)
- Concealer that is commonly used

Working steps:
1. Prepare all the equipment above first.
2. Apply foundation and concealer as usual, then let it sit for a while until it dries a little.
3. Use the base of one small brush to slightly lift the under eye area around the corner of the eye.
4. After that, apply loose powder slowly using a small brush while pressing gently.
5. If you think it's enough, tap the area with a slightly damp beauty blender to even it out.
6. Voila! Makeup under your eyes will stick well and be creasing-free for a long time.
