Brilio.net - Acne is a skin problem that forms when pores are blocked by oil, dead skin cells and bacteria. Generally starting from the teenage phase, the appearance of acne is influenced by several things such as hormonal changes and excess oil production. However, factors such as stress, pollution and consuming unhealthy foods can also worsen acne conditions.
Acne is basically divided into several types. Some are just pimples like blackheads which generally don't cause pain. There are also types of deep acne such as pustules, nodules and cysts which can actually cause intense pain due to inflammation under the skin tissue. This is what then triggers acne, giving a red, irritating effect on the top layer of the skin.

Well, one technique that is commonly used to disguise reddish acne when wearing makeup is using a color corrector. This makeup product is specially formulated to neutralize discoloration or unwanted color on the skin. Some of them include black spots, panda eyes, and reddish acne.

There are several colors that are usually used as color correctors. Orange or peach colors are used to disguise dark spots or dark circles under the eyes. Meanwhile, red or pink is usually used to disguise pale skin, and lavender for dull skin. Especially for reddish acne areas, green is the right choice because it can neutralize the red color of acne.
Although the use of color corrector appears to be an effective solution, some people may not be able to afford the additional product. To overcome this, it turns out there is a quite practical way by using the products you already have, namely loose powder and concealer.
Usually, concealer and loose powder are used to add contrast and lock the foundation layer when using full makeup. However, you can also use these two products to cover reddish acne without having to use foundation first.
This is as shared by @refinery29 on Instagram, reported by briliobeauty.net on Friday (9/2). But the two makeup products above are not used as usual. There is a special way that this makeup product can function like a color corrector as shown below.
