Brilio.net - Sunscreen is a very important skincare product to protect the skin from the harmful effects of sunlight. Because excessive exposure to UV rays from the sun can cause various skin problems, ranging from premature aging, dark spots, to the risk of skin cancer.
Ultraviolet (UV) rays produced by the sun are divided into two main types, namely UVA and UVB. UVA can penetrate deeper into the skin and cause premature aging, while UVB is more associated with sunburn.
Both can damage the skin in the long term and increase the risk of skin cancer. Therefore, the use of sunscreen is crucial to prevent skin damage that may not be immediately visible but is very dangerous in the long term.
Thanks to its advantages, there are now many sunscreen brands circulating with their own claims. However, recently there are 2 sunscreens that are going viral, because of their similar packaging.
The products in question are ELFormula CeraHydro Barrier Repair Sunscreen and Facetology Triple Care Sunscreen. Both went viral because of their oval-shaped packaging that resembles an egg.
Well, because it's going viral, a beauty enthusiast with the TikTok account name @ka.hairunisa, decided to do a battle review of the two sunscreens. Which one do you think absorbs into the skin faster?

" sunscreen is awesome ," he wrote in the video caption, which briliobeauty.net quoted on Wednesday (2/10).
According to the account owner named Kaha, the packaging of the two sunscreens is actually not very similar. The reason is, the Facetology product has a flatter shape with a fairly unique lid.
Meanwhile, Elformula has a rounder oval shape. In terms of finish look, both sunscreens have a matte finish.

" At Elformula, the packaging really only looks like the name of the product, whereas Facetology only comes in primary packaging. So, the product information is on the back ," he said.
Moving on to the texture, Facetology has a creamier texture and is not too runny. Unlike Elformula which is more watery and easier to blend, so it is easily absorbed into the skin. Not only that, Kaha also tested the absorption ability of both sunscreen products.

When attached with tissue, both products that have been applied to the face really have a matte finish. It can be seen from the tissue that is not sticky to the skin when attached, after 10 minutes of application.
" The feel itself has Facetology which is really more absorbent than Elformula. Neither makes it painful, neither peels, the smell is also not annoying at all ," he concluded.
