Brilio.net - Acne patch is a small plaster that is specially designed to be attached directly to inflamed acne. Its main function is to protect acne from dirt, bacteria, and prevent the habit of squeezing acne , which can worsen skin conditions.
In addition, acne patches also usually contain active ingredients such as salicylic acid or hydrocolloid which help absorb pus, excess oil, and accelerate acne healing. Thanks to its various advantages, it is no wonder that acne patches are an effective solution to overcome inflamed acne without pain.
Unfortunately, this does not apply to the TikTok account owner @sasantiindahs, who had a sad experience after using acne patches. The reason is, after using the skincare, instead of the acne on her face healing, it ended up making her cheeks hollow.

"Forgive the acne patch that has made your cheeks hollow," he wrote in the uploaded video, which briliobeauty.net quoted on Tuesday (1/10).
The story began when the account owner, known as Sasa, had acne on her left cheek. Then, she tried using an acne patch from her friend, hoping to make the acne on her cheek dry quickly and heal.
Through her story, Sasa used the acne patch overnight, with her face already clean. The next day, Sasa decided to remove the acne patch on her cheek.

"The next day, I took off the acne patch. How come there were no pimples stuck to the acne patch? Instead, it looked like there was a small lump on my cheek, guys," he said.
After a few days, the lump on her cheek area grew bigger, causing Sasa to panic and decide to use acne spot medication that she bought at a beauty clinic. Instead of getting better, the acne on her cheek did not get any better.
Finally, Sasa decided to go to another beauty clinic, to find out the condition of the acne on her cheeks. It turned out, she had to do several actions to deal with the increasingly large acne. One of them is acne injection.

After doing the acne injection, the lump on Sasa's cheek slowly shrank and became smaller. But unfortunately, a few days later, the acne on her cheek reappeared in the same place.
"Day after day I let it be, hoping that maybe it was just an effect. It turned out to be bigger like a boil, and it really hurt," he continued.

Therefore, Sasa decided to go back to the previous clinic for a consultation. Finally, she had to undergo several injection treatments for the second time, with the aim of removing the pus in her acne lumps. This is what made her cheeks become hollow and sometimes bleeding.
"But thank God, masyaallah, now it's healed. Although there are scars, the important thing is that it's healed and doesn't appear again," he concluded.
