As reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @ammaizza1 on Friday (9/8), the first thing to do is to remove the outer part of the mustard greens. Usually one sheet of the outer part of the white mustard greens tends to be dirty and even full of holes. Well, this damaged part can be peeled and thrown away, yes.

After that, wipe the Chinese cabbage using kitchen paper to minimize rotting due to the damp conditions of the cabbage when stored. This is because Chinese cabbage usually releases quite a lot of water which makes it easy to become soft and rotten. If so, cover the bottom or base of the Chinese cabbage using kitchen paper. The method is, simply fold a piece of paper into several folds. After that, use it to cover the base of the Chinese cabbage. To make it tighter, you can glue it using tape.

Next, wrap the Chinese cabbage using kitchen tissue or paper. Make sure the tissue or paper completely covers the entire Chinese cabbage. After wrapping, tape it again. The tissue or paper will absorb water or moisture in the cabbage, so it will not rot easily when stored.

Then put the white cabbage into a closed and airtight container. If so, the white cabbage can be stored in the bottom of the refrigerator or chiller. That way, the white cabbage can last long and not rot for up to 1 week.
