Without having to replace the rubber, here's a trick to overcome leaking LPG gas cylinders with two simple tools.

Easy to practice yourself at home. Nadhifah

Brilio.net - Cooking can indeed save money, but sometimes problems arise such as LPG gas leaks. When LPG gas leaks and hisses, many people immediately replace the gas rubber, although this method is not always effective and actually increases costs.

Actually, there is another more practical and economical way to overcome gas leaks without having to replace the rubber. TikTok user @nadiapurwanto445 shows this method using two simple tools.

First, remove the gas rubber on the inside of the gas cylinder mouth. Don't just throw it away, because the gas rubber will still be used later. If so, also prepare one rubber band. Yup, the tools needed to overcome leaking LPG gas are gas rubber and rubber bands.

"Cut the rubber band according to the length of the gas head hole, no more, no less," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @nadiapurwanto445 on Monday (9/9).

Once the size is right, insert the rubber band into the mouth of the gas cylinder. Press gently until the rubber band is completely inserted.

Since there is still some space left, place the gas rubber on top of the rubber band. Press the gas rubber with your hands until it is tightly attached.

Next, reinstall the regulator to the gas cylinder as usual. Don't forget to press the lock so that the regulator doesn't come off. Once installed perfectly, the gas cylinder will no longer leak. Because there is no more hissing sound coming out.
