After that, add 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp cooking oil, bay leaves and pandan leaves to the mixture. Stir then cook the rice as usual.

Once cooked, open the lid of the rice cooker. Don't stir immediately, but let it sit for 15 minutes so that all the hot steam comes out. Immediately stir and set aside all types of leaves in the rice after leaving it for 15 minutes.

1. Prepare a large pot and fill it with enough water. Make sure the pan is large enough to accommodate the lontong you are going to warm.
