As reported by BrilioFood from YouTube Eliza Perkasa on Friday (16/8), the first thing to do is to mix and cook the nagasari dough. Because it is not steamed, the flour dough must be mixed and cooked in a pan to cook it.

To be more precise, dissolve 150 grams of hunkwe flour with a little (from 1 liter) of coconut milk. If you want the cake to last, you can use boiled coconut milk. After mixing, stir the two ingredients until smooth.

Next, add 150 grams (10 tablespoons) of granulated sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a pan. Also add the remaining coconut milk and hunkwe flour mixture while straining. Stir and cook over medium heat until there is a part that thickens.

Now, if the dough has started to thicken, lower the heat of the stove. Then stir quickly until the dough boils and bubbles. At this stage, usually the texture of the dough will become denser and thicken perfectly.

When the mixture is thick and boiling, turn off the stove. Then prepare a piece of banana leaf (to wrap the nagasari). Then, pour the nagasari mixture into the middle of the banana leaf. Add a piece of steamed banana kepok. Then cover with more mixture.

After that, roll and fold the dough until it is evenly covered. Then fold the right and left sides, then compact the dough inside again. Finally, fold the remaining banana leaves to the bottom. After that, wait until it cools down until the dough is completely set. That way, nagasari is ready to be consumed.
