Brilio.net - Fried bananas are a snack choice that is suitable for various occasions, such as when watching movies, completing assignments, or enjoying tea. This snack has a slightly savory sweet taste. In addition to being delicious, fried bananas are also known for their crispy outer texture, which is produced from coating the flour dough before frying.

To get curly and crispy results for a long time, many people add margarine to the fried banana flour dough. After all the ingredients are well mixed, the banana pieces can be dipped into the flour dough and immediately fried in hot oil.

However, to get the optimal crispiness, you can follow the steps shared by YouTube user iK_Ben_Krisna. In his video tutorial, he shows how to make two banana coating doughs at once, which he says can improve the texture of fried bananas to be super curly and crispy.

The first step is to prepare the wet dough. Prepare a container and add 4 tablespoons of flour, 250 ml of water, and 1 tablespoon of margarine. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

"Make sure there are no lumps in the dough," he said, as quoted by BrilioFood on Wednesday (11/9).

After that, peel and cut the bananas into four equal pieces carefully so that the shape remains neat.

"Once cut, dip the banana pieces into the wet batter and set aside," he added.

Next, prepare the dry mixture by mixing 15 tablespoons of wheat flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. To get crispier and longer-lasting fried bananas, he also added 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to the dry mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

After that, move the banana pieces one by one into the dry mixture. Make sure all the banana surfaces are coated with the dry mixture, then move them into a container filled with plain water.

"This is the key to getting nice, curly results," he explains.

The wet banana pieces are then transferred back to the dry mixture. Flip the bananas over so that the entire surface is evenly coated with the dry mixture.

"If you want thicker results, you can repeat this process two to three times," he added.

Once everything is ready, the bananas can be fried in hot oil. Make sure to flip the fried bananas so that they cook evenly.

The fried bananas that are already golden yellow can be lifted using a strainer. Drain for a moment, and the fried bananas are ready to be served.
